Where’s the Beef?

2010 April 12

The ‘Where’s the Beef?’ series of advertisements from Wendy’s restaurants in the early 1980’s made a slogan famous.

It certainly is the question to be asked again, first in regards to the ‘latest and greatest’ bailout of Greece, now merely twenty four hours old but apparently dead in the water already(see this).

‘Where’s the Gold?’ is the question being asked with increased frequency some 25 years later as well. Even the mainstream media has been forced to cover the story, with very strong evidence that both silver and gold markets have been manipulated in order to benefit a few, and artificially keep afloat a global system of paper money which is beyond repair (see this).

These two seemingly separate stories are linked by crime. An elite few benefiting from the rules…where the law is applied not with justice…but to just-us…and the looters and pillagers now in charge will continue the looting and the pillaging. What else would we expect? They are criminals (see this).

These two stories also point to the loss of control (thankfully) the criminals have of the entire enterprise. Don’t think it isn’t global in scope, because it is, meaning when (not if) the Ponzi collapses, it will hurt…wherever you are.
